The Obvious brand was created as part of our quest for new olfactory elegance and a new understanding of luxury: a luxury embedded in simplicity which takes environmental issues into account, an essential component.
These perfumes are modern, reflecting a society made up of new consumers who are aware of the world around them, exacting with the products they purchase and looking for distinctive fragrances.
Our perfumes also match today’s wardrobes and lifestyles: simple, high-quality, original and casual.

THE CREATOR
David Frossard has spent more than twenty years developing creator-driven perfumes.
Committed to constantly improving the sector, David invented Obvious as a luxury perfume brand that meets the requirements of our modern lives, blending simplicity and elegance in self-respect and environmental protection.

Obvious was brought into being thanks to all the contributors who supported our project and took part in our crowdfunding campaign. This incredible adventure has enabled us to successfully launch Obvious.

OUR COMMITMENTS
A transparent production process
Obvious is a luxury perfume brand that is environmentally responsible and made in France. It meets the requirements of our modern lives by blending simplicity and elegance in self-respect and environmental protection.
We have opted to use environmentally responsible raw materials when at all possible. Whether in the essences, in which we prefer natural ingredients to synthetic alternatives, in our organic alcohol for the dilution process, in the bottle made of recycled and recyclable glass, in the cork tops made from wine cork production offshoots (without plastic inserts) or, naturally, in the external packaging which is entirely made of recyclable paper and no cellophane.
We are offering a perfume at a fair price which supports a production chain of suppliers who are committed to a sustainable development approach despite demand still being so low in the luxury sector. Our suppliers are selected with the utmost care and we promote short supply chains.

Une Vanille
A sensual greediness.Vanilla is a universal ingredient, the fruit of the wild orchid. We wanted to return to this exotic fruit, to this black pod that is happily opened to release its sensual sweetness. By moving away from the gourmet and very luscious vanilla, we restore its ancestral depth.

Memory of a wind of revolt and freedom.This exotic leaf that reached our nostrils thanks to the Silk Road captivated the bourgeoisie of the nineteenth century as well as the hippies of the twentieth. Patchouli calls for a desire for elsewhere, for exoticism and mystery.
Un Musc
The comfort and elegance of a second skin.When perfume and skin enter a perfect symbiosis to sublimate the rare elegance of being authentic to oneself, Un Musc appears. A fragrance that slips on like the most beautiful and softest of white T-shirts, becoming a timeless and ageless classic.
Un Bois
A freshness of character.A fresh, solid and dry fragrance like the material it is named after. A modern woody scent carried by ambroxan that makes it addictive. The notes of sandalwood, cypriol and cedar follow one another to leave an impression of character and power.
Une Verveine
An aromatic and zesty charm.This verbena is overflowing with joy with its sparkling notes but it is also deep and very herbal. It does not express a gender; its lemony head notes are from the masculine register but it is also very feminine due to the effect of chlorophyll in the leaves.
