In 2004 we opened the first Metropolitain Cosmetics store in Hyde Park Corner.
In 2004 we created Metropolitain Cosmetics, the first store in South Africa specialised in alternative cosmetic brands.

Today, Metropolitain Cosmetics has grown into an importer and a retailer of prestige beauty, skincare, personal care, fragrances and cosmetics in South Africa.
We are a young, dynamic company, seeking to maximize our competitive advantage acquired through channels management ( and in particular a strong connection to commercial locations) and productivity management ( bearing in mind the focus we place on micro-monitoring our retail activity through advanced computerized systems and software “ WINPARF” )
Our greatest pride will always be the success of the brands that we are entrusted with, by inventing a new type of retail experience in a difficult, idiosyncratic market such as South Africa, where the distribution channels are limited ( Edgars, Stuttafords, Foschini, etc…) all offering a similar if not identical brand mix.
Our market is indeed a place that you’ll only ever hear about when dramatic events occurs …and yet…
