SWISSDENT

SWISSDENT is an international company based in Zurich, Switzerland. It was founded in 2006 by Doctor of Dental Science Vaclav Velkoborsky.

For many years, Dr. Velkoborsky has specialised in cosmetic dentistry, not only in his practice, but also in his research. In particular, he has extensive knowledge and a keen interest in teeth whitening procedures. Dr. Velkoborsky knew that popular bleaching methods often have negative side effects such as hypersensitivity and enamel damage. Furthermore, most whitening toothpastes and traditional toothpastes on the market are very abrasive and scratch the enamel, wearing it away over time. In theory, most mainstream toothpastes found in supermarkets and pharmacies are based on recipes from the 1960s.
