BDK Parfums has been founded in 2016 by a French designer, David Benedek, who is one of the youngest designer in the perfume industry worldwide. Born in Paris in 1989, son of a father with a Romanian heritage and a mother born on the boarder of Algeria and Morocco, David Benedek grew up in the universe of perfumery. His grandparents, exiles of Transylvania, were amongst the first authorized people to distribute renowned perfume brands such as Worth or Christian Dior in Paris in the 1950s.
David is based in Paris. He graduated from IFM (Institut Français de la Mode) in 2012, where he chose to study perfume and raw materials with professors and master perfumers from Givaudan.
After his master, he decided to continue the study of perfumery and took classes at Cinquième Sens, a reputable organization where he learnt how to work on the different olfactive families and facettes.
A warm facet with the powdery and sweet notes and on the other hand, a fresh facet with the spicy notes, Rouge Smoking is inspired by a woman who lives in Pigalle in Paris and with a strong taste for fashion. The latest creation of La Collection Parisienne.
Floral, oriental and sensual scent, Tubéreuse Impériale is inspired by the tuberose flower as a queen flower and a bouquet of white and yellow flowers around. A sillage that offers sensuality and elegance.
Leathery with facets of white and pure suede and fresh facets of citrus leaves, Crème de Cuir is inspired by the beige and white monochromes of the painter Rothko. A fragrance that highlights a different facet of leathery fragrances.
